That’s why all our scissors are 100% manufactured in a single production facility in Japan. From the design of the scissors to the production of the raw material and the final quality control, all steps go through a strict production process.

In doing so, the Japanese factory has state-of-the-art production equipment and technology, as well as highly skilled and experienced employees who are passionate about producing the best hairdressing scissors. This fully controlled production process allows us to ensure that each and every pair of Konayuki hairdressing scissors meets the highest quality standards and meets or exceeds our customers‘ expectations.

Another important point in the production of our scissors is the individual checking and adjustment of the pretension of the cutting blades by our experts with many years of experience. By means of small hammer blows, each pair of scissors is adjusted so that the cutting action is as smooth as butter.

Finally, the scissors are sharpened on the Japanese water stone, a whetstone that is cooled in water. This makes the sharpening process particularly fine and precise to ensure maximum longevity and quality of the scissors.

Some models (e.g., Black Pleasure Titan) feature a high-quality titanium coating. The titanium coating is not only visually appealing but also provides high resistance to wear and tear. Additionally, the titanium coating is considered to be gentle on the skin, making it particularly recommended for individuals with allergies, such as nickel allergy.
